12th Buenos Aires International Biennial of Architecture
The 12th Buenos Aires International Biennial of Architecture BA09 will take place from October 3rd to 12th at the Recoleta Cultural Center.
Like in each of the eleven previous editions performed since 1985, the Biennial will bring together the world's most prominent architects.
The Buenos Aires International Biennial of Architecture is one of the most important exhibitions along with the Venice and San Pablo Biennials. Its new edition will be held at the Recoleta Cultural Center in October this year. The exhibition of works will be held from October 3rd to 12th, and the conferences will take place from Tuesday 6th to Friday 9th , and as in its inception 24 years ago, the Biennial will bring together national and international academic activity as well as the exhibition of works of worldwide architecture.
The International Biennial of Architecture has performed 12 editions with that name as a cultural institution. However, it started in 1969 at the CAYC (Arts and Communication Center). Throughout its history, there has been an increase in contributions to encourage the exchange of experiences among developers around the world and discussions about the contents, needs and responses of contemporary architecture.
